Município é o primeiro do Litoral Norte de Alagoas a receber o programa este ano
Porto de Pedras, 13/05/2022 – A primeira edição do Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher Rural no Litoral Norte de Alagoas, neste ano, foi realizada no município de Porto de Pedras. Nos dias 3, 12 e 13 de maio, a equipe do Senar esteve na cidade para levar atendimento médico com foco na saúde e bem-estar do produtor e trabalhador rural.
No total, foram atendidas mais de 170 pessoas entre homens e mulheres, o maior desempenho registrado até agora entre os municípios que já receberam o programa.
No primeiro dia da ação, 100 homens realizaram a coleta de sangue para o exame de PSA, fundamental para controle e prevenção ao câncer de próstata, além de testes rápidos para doenças como HIV, sífilis e hepatites B e C. Aferição de pressão arterial e realização de eletrocardiograma também
Os homens voltaram para a segunda etapa do atendimento no dia 13 de maio, quando foram atendidos pelo urologista Mário Ronalsa e para realização do exame de toque retal.
Já as mulheres foram contempladas com o programa no dia 12 deste mês, quando 77 trabalhadoras rurais realizaram exame de citologia, preventivo para câncer de colo de útero, testes rápidos para detecção de Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis (IST), como Sífilis, HIV e Hepatite, e ainda vacinação contra a Covid-19, gripe e Sarampo.

A Secretaria de Saúde de Porto de Pedras também fez busca ativa durante a realização do programa, indo até a residência das mulheres que estavam com atendimento marcado, mas que não compareceram por causa de imprevistos no transporte dessas pacientes.
“O Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher Rural em Porto de Pedras foi um sucesso. O trabalho de mobilização para deslocar os pacientes até o local do atendimento foi essencial para alcançarmos um índice de comparecimento excelente, próximo a meta fixada para as mulheres e de 100% para os homens”, comemora a coordenadora do programa, Andrea Almeida.
O urologista Mário Ronalsa, parceiro do Senar Alagoas nas ações voltadas para a saúde, aproveitou – momentos antes de iniciar o atendimento dos homens – para alertar sobre a importância de realizar o exame de toque retal.
“É um procedimento que não tira a masculinidade de ninguém. Mais importante é lembrar que o câncer de próstata é a segunda doença mais comum entre os homens. Dados do Instituto Nacional de Câncer e da Sociedade Brasileira de Urologia mostram que o Brasil registrou 61.200 novos casos e 13 mil óbitos somente em 2018”, revela.
“A cada 7 minutos, um brasileiro é diagnosticado com a doença, e a cada 40 minutos, um morre. É como se tivéssemos um Trapichão cheio todo ano de pessoas diagnosticadas com a doença”, compara.
A próxima edição do Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher está marcada para os dias 26 e 27 de maio, quando a equipe do Senar retorna ao município de Viçosa para dar continuidade ao atendimento iniciado no último dia 6.
Em junho, fechando o primeiro semestre, o programa será realizado no município de Minador do Negrão nos dias 1°, 9 e 10 do próximo mês. Em 08 de junho ele será iniciado em Estrela de Alagoas, com a segunda etapa agendada para 21 e 22 de julho.
