Maceió, 04 de abril de 2022 – O Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher atendeu quase 150 trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais durante os três dias da ação no município de Cacimbinhas, região Agreste de Alagoas. Idealizado pelo Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Rural (Senar), a iniciativa leva atendimento médico para essa parcela da população, que quase sempre tem dificuldade para manter a realização de exames de saúde em dia.
Em Cacimbinhas, o programa esteve na cidade nos dias 23 e 31 de março, e 1º de abril. O agricultor Cícero Siqueira Cavalcante, de 69 anos, foi um dos que esteve no posto de saúde para buscar atendimento. Após fazer o exame de PSA no dia 23, quando o programa teve início na cidade, ele retornou na semana seguinte para se consultar com o urologista Mário Ronalsa, parceiro do Senar Alagoas na ação.
O exame do agricultor apresentou alteração no PSA, e uma conversa com o médico o tranquilizou ao afastar o risco de câncer de próstata. “O urologista me disse que está tudo ok com a minha saúde, e que essa alteração [no exame] é normal e até esperada para a minha idade”, explica, aliviado.
Antes da pandemia, ele chegou a fazer exames, mas a suspensão dos atendimentos o deixou sem acesso aos resultados. “Estava um bom tempo sem ir ao médico, e quando finalmente consegui um tempo para ir, aí veio a pandemia e bagunçou tudo. Mas graças a Deus agora estou mais tranquilo”, diz ele, que ainda fez testes de HIV, Sífilis, Hepatite B e C, e ainda mediu a glicemia e fez aferição de pressão arterial.
Maria de Fátima Ferro, de 63 anos, também compareceu ao posto de saúde para participar do programa. Ela fez exame de citologia e recebeu encaminhamento para realização de mamografia, além dos demais exames oferecidos pelo Senar em parceria com a Prefeitura de Cacimbinhas.
“Fui atendida super bem por todo mundo. A médica foi muito atenciosa a todo instante. Gostei muito, já que fazia um bom tempo que não vinha ao médico para saber como anda a minha saúde”, diz.
Além do atendimento médico, os trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais que participaram do programa também assistiram a uma palestra do urologista Mário Ronalsa e da psicóloga Walescka Cajé. Ambos falaram sobre a importância de manter a saúde física e mental em equilíbrio, e no caso dos homens com um adendo especial: deixar o preconceito de lado e fazer o exame de toque retal, preventivo para câncer de próstata.
A doença é a segunda mais comum entre os homens. Dados do Instituto Nacional de Câncer (Inca) e da Sociedade Brasileira de Urologia (SBU) mostram que o Brasil registrou 61.200 novos casos e 13 mil óbitos somente em 2018. A cada 7 minutos, um brasileiro é diagnosticado com a doença. A cada 40 minutos, um morre.
As estatísticas também comprovam que 20% dos pacientes com câncer de próstata são diagnosticados em estágios avançados e 25% morrem devido à doença. Quando os sintomas começam a aparecer, 95% dos casos já estão em fase aguda.
“Mesmo com toda a tecnologia, nós ainda registramos cerca de 1,3 mil amputações de pênis por ano no país. Em Alagoas, a situação é pior. Fizemos uma pesquisa, entre 2007 e 2009, e encontramos o número de um pênis amputado a cada treze dias e meio. É uma estatística muito forte”, alerta o urologista nas suas palestras.
Novo formato
A coordenadora do programa no Senar Alagoas, Andrea Almeida, explica que devido à pandemia as atividades foram divididas em três etapas este ano.
“Fizemos o exame de PSA entre os homens no primeiro dia, e no segundo dia fizemos o de citologia para as mulheres. Já no terceiro e último dia, com o resultado do PSA em mãos, os homens são atendidos pelo urologista para realização do toque retal”, detalha.
“Esse programa já tem mais de 10 anos, e aqui em Cacimbinhas é a nossa primeira edição deste ano. Para 2022 estão previstas 15 edições do programa. Ele é muito bem aceito porque a gente sabe a necessidade do homem rural. A falta de acesso muitas vezes [aos serviços de saúde]. Então o Senar chega justamente para atender o pequeno produtor e preencher essa lacuna”, completa a coordenadora.
Em Cacimbinhas, o Senar contou com o apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SMS) para atender a demanda, além do Sindicato Rural de Palmeira dos Índios, responsável pela mobilização da comunidade.
“Tivemos uma procura acima da média esperada. Nós tivemos homens que vieram de quase 20 quilômetros de distância, de povoados vizinhos ao município. Homens que vieram mesmo da zona rural, que quebraram esse tabu e mostraram aceitação ao programa”, conta a secretária municipal de Saúde, Syntia Emanuela França. “Nossos agentes de saúde saíram para busca ativa e conseguiram também trazer essas pessoas para atendimento médico”, diz.
A próxima edição do Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher do Senar Alagoas será realizada na cidade de Belém, na região Agreste, ainda neste mês de abril.
