O Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher inicia a agenda de atividades deste ano pelo município de Cacimbinhas, no Sertão do estado, já na próxima semana. Nos dias 23 e 31 de março, e 1° de abril, a equipe do Senar Alagoas vai estar na cidade para fazer exames e prestar atendimento médico a trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais da região.
No primeiro dia (23), o público alvo são os homens de 45 a 80 anos de idade que nunca tenham feito o exame PSA ou que estejam com ele atrasado há pelo menos dois anos. Além da coleta de sangue para o exame, o programa também prevê a realização de palestras que têm como temas a higiene pessoal, planejamento familiar, doenças sexualmente transmissíveis (DSTs), câncer de próstata, câncer de pênis e disfunção erétil.
Já no segundo dia (31) será a vez das mulheres, com a realização de exames de citologia entre as trabalhadoras e produtoras rurais do município. O atendimento tem como foco a prevenção ao câncer do colo de útero.
Em 1° de abril, terceiro e último dia do programa na cidade, o médico urologista Mário Ronalsa fará o exame de toque retal nos homens cujo PSA apresenta alterações no resultado – o que pode ser ou não um indicativo de problema de saúde na próstata.
A coordenadora do programa no Senar Alagoas, Andréa Almeida, explicou durante uma Live na terça-feira (15) como funciona essa iniciativa, que deve chegar a 15 localidades ao longo deste ano.
“O programa é realizado em parceria com as prefeituras e secretarias municipais de Saúde, que entram em contato com o Senar e demostram interesse em receber esse tipo de atendimento na cidade. Os homens que apresentarem problemas durante os exames são encaminhados posteriormente para a Santa Casa de Maceió, para receber o tratamento adequado pela equipe do dr. Mário [Ronalsa]”, diz.
“As prefeituras também podem ampliar o atendimento oferecendo outros serviços no local, como esteticista para as mulheres, por exemplo. É um trabalho gratificante porque a gente vê a transformação das pessoas e ajuda a cuidar da saúde delas”, completa.
