Mar Vermelho sedia mais uma edição do Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher Rural
O Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher Rural esteve no município de Mar Vermelho no final do mês de setembro, nos dias 29 e 30, para oferecer aos produtores e trabalhadores rurais uma série de exames médicos. Durante dois dias, a Academia da Saúde, na praça central da cidade, concentrou o atendimento à população.
Foram realizados por lá mais de 90 exames de toque retal e 100 de PSA, ambos preventivos para o câncer de próstata. Também foram feitas 78 citologias entre as mulheres, um exame preventivo para câncer de colo de útero. Testes rápidos de HIV, Sífilis e Hepatite também foram disponibilizados ao público do programa.
Além do atendimento em saúde, as mulheres também tiveram serviços de cuidados com a beleza, como manicure, maquiagem e design de sobrancelhas, enquanto os homens ganharam corte de cabelo.
Esta edição do programa contou com uma palestra especial da assessora técnica do Departamento de Educação Profissional e Promoção Social do Senar Nacional, Magali Eleutério da Silva. Ela palestrou sobre saúde do homem e saúde da mulher, com foco em IST´s (Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis), nos dois dias do evento e reforçou a importância de abordar o tema.
É a terceira vez que o Programa Saúde do Homem e da Mulher Rural é realizado em Mar Vermelho. No primeiro semestre deste ano, a equipe do Senar Alagoas e das prefeituras parceiras atenderam 741 pessoas nos seis municípios que sediaram a ação no período. Foram realizadas 251 citologias e 490 exames de PSA entre os meses de março e junho.
Agora neste segundo semestre, o programa já passou pelos municípios de Maribondo, Novo Lino, Anadia, Carneiros, Dois Riachos, Feliz Deserto e Japaratinga. Chã Preta, Estrela de Alagoas, Pão de Açúcar, Delmiro Gouveia e Campestre são algumas das cidades com edições já previstas para este semestre.
