A abertura oficial da 72ª Expoagro foi marcada pela homenagem que o presidente da Federação da Agricultura e Pecuária do Estado de Alagoas (Faeal), Álvaro Almeida, recebeu do Sebrae durante a realização do evento, no último domingo (23), no Parque da Pecuária. O tradicional Empório Sebrae leva agora o nome do presidente da Faeal, passando a se chamar Espaço Sebrae de Eventos Álvaro Arthur Lopes de Almeida.
“Essa homenagem me honra por demais, me faz pensar que não passei só pela vida, mas que eu existi plenamente. Ficar eternizado nesse espaço, onde os meus netos e bisnetos passarão e os filhos e netos dos meus amigos procurarão saber quem foi Álvaro Almeida. O que mais me orgulha é fazer a defesa desses companheiros e desses amigos que sempre produziram no campo para o desenvolvimento da economia alagoana. Eu fiz aquilo que poderia fazer em defesa dessa categoria”, destacou Almeida.
Na abertura do evento, o superintendente do Sebrae Alagoas, Marcos Vieira, também reforçou a homenagem feita ao presidente da Faeal.
“Aqui, iremos fazer grandes eventos com os nossos parceiros. Parabenizo o nosso querido Álvaro Almeida, que denomina o novo espaço do Sebrae de forma extremamente merecida. É uma honra ter o nome dele em nosso espaço. Ele é um dos baluartes do agronegócio em Alagoas. Ele que há anos defende o setor com ‘unhas e dentes’, de forma incisiva e decisiva, leal e solidária. O nome dele foi escolhido de forma unânime, também por tudo o que ele tem feito pelo Sebrae. Ele já foi nosso presidente do Conselho Deliberativo, mas nunca se afastou e continuou sendo um dos nossos melhores conselheiros”, ressaltou.
O presidente da Associação dos Criadores de Alagoas (ACA), Domício Silva, lembrou a reformulação do Parque da Pecuária e os benefícios que isso trará para a cidade de Maceió.
“É um novo momento, um novo espaço aqui no Parque da Pecuária, com uma melhor infraestrutura para receber os convidados, os criadores, expositores, mas, principalmente, um parque multieventos para atender a cidade, não apenas em eventos agropecuários, mas atender também a Maceió com qualquer tipo de evento. Sou grato à parceria do Sebrae, da Faeal, da Fiea, do Governo do Estado por tudo o que tem feito pela ACA. Grato aos expositores, criadores e todo o público, aos funcionários e a todos que fazem a Expoagro”, enfatizou.
Empório Sebrae
Com uma área de aproximadamente 403m², o ‘Empório Sebrae’ – já no Espaço Sebrae de Eventos Álvaro Arthur Lopes de Almeida – funciona durante a Expoagro sempre das 16h às 22h, também com a oferta de exposição de produtos diferenciados. Na área externa, o público visitante do empório pode encontrar atrações culturais, além do espaço de alimentação, com produtos tradicionais e coloniais, produtos típicos, regionais e artesanais, além de alimentos e bebidas in natura e processados.
A 72ª Expoagro é uma realização da ACA, Organização Arnon de Mello, Federação da Agricultura e Pecuária no Estado de Alagoas (Faeal), com o patrocínio do Sebrae Alagoas, Secretaria de Estado da Agricultura do Estado de Alagoas (Seagri) e Prefeitura de Maceió. O evento ainda conta com o apoio da Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Alagoas (Fiea) e Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Rural em Alagoas (Senar/AL).
